Ewan!

Dated Aug 28, '09 10:57 PM

"Ewan," he replied, he lied.

He had known most if not the full extent of what was transpiring in those moments. A bitter rebellion, a coercion. He had deciphered the scribbles on the wall. What once was but a mere game to him turned into a war of hearts. And minds.

"Ewan," he said, sincerely.

His own bitterness overshadowed by the fray, the occurrence, dissipated. He knew it would expose itself in the eventuality. He knew this inevitability can not be prevented. Nothing would conflagrate the looming, consuming force.

"Ewan!" he said, with conviction.

He braced himself for the tomorrow.

Patience, I have none.

The reeling lapse, the roundabout. Dancing, prancing.

He had stumbled upon the truth, the truth he had been waiting for, the enlightenment, the clarity. Time misleads, creates false illusions. Expectation drew the portrait. What was left of it was mere vandalism. Winding, winding, winding revolutions produced nothing but a sensation of poisoning, tired exhaustion, toxicity. Pacing back and forth, deliberating every aspect of what once was and is. What had changed, what had remained. Mere thoughts, meaningless. He retired.

Standing once more. Dead silence, blinding light. Good morning.
